Christine Brouzes has been with Ikwe since May, 2016. A civil servant for over 20 years, Christine always finds time to give to her city beyond her full time job with the department of Families. A passion for women’s safety and helping the MMIWG plight brought Christine to Ikwe. All the directors are volunteers. Christine takes pride in giving time and heart to Ikwe!
Chery Lee is a dedicated Ikwe volunteer who commits a large part of her life to supporting our mission. A business woman, mother and lover of animals, Chery brings heart and passion to her volunteering. Her connection with members is extraordinary. She has a severe coffee addiction and often has a surprise furbaby buddy driver with her.
Becca Abraham has been involved with Not for Profit Organizations most of her adult life through working with and helping to promote equality for those with developmental delays. In June of 2017 she found a group that spoke to her passions for equality and safety for every person and joined the Ikwe Safe Rides team. When she's not in her car driving for Ikwe, she can be found with her respite clients, working on one of her far too many crafting projects or nerding out with her husband and son playing board games, video games or watching movies. Her house is decorated with dragons and fairies and she owns way too many pairs of comic book themed pajama pants (that she does do safe rides in).
